This site is intended for newbies, so I'll provide
some information on Java. If any of the information is wrong, please let
me know so I can correct it.
Java is a rather young programming language,
it was made in the 90's by Sun microcomputers. It is an object-oriented
language based on C++, but in my opinion easier to understand. The fact
that the language is easy to learn (at least the basics) doesn't mean that
it is no good. It is a very powerful language if you are going to make
application or the more common applets. When I get some links on this site
